7th Annual Lake Oconee Celebrity Golf Classic

Atlanta, GA (May 7th, 2019) – Bruce Arians, head coach of the Tampa Buccaneers announced his family foundation is teaming up with Florida Gators head coach Dan Mullen and his family foundation for the  7th Annual Lake Oconee Celebrity Golf Classic June 30-July 1, 2019 at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge at Reynolds Lake Oconee.

The Lake Oconee Celebrity Golf Classic will officially begin on Sunday night, June 30 with the Arians & Mullen’s families hosting a BBQ dinner and special concert at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge. On Monday July 1st, celebrities and participants will tee-off on the acclaimed Oconee Course, followed by a post-golf reception. Proceeds from the two-day event will be shared by the Arians Family Foundation & Mullen Family 36 Foundation.

Since 2013, the Arians Family Foundation has been acting a “voice for children,” especially those in CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) to help ensure any child forced to go through the court system receives the help and care they need. Started the same year in 2013, the Mullen Family 36 Foundation was created to lend a helping hand to children in need. Before leaving Mississippi State, the Mullens raised more than half a million dollars for children’s charities.

“We are so happy to partner with my friend Dan Mullen on our 7th Annual celebrity golf classic in Georgia to help raise awareness as well as funds for our two charity foundations,” said Bruce Arians. “We look forward to a fun two-day event while continuing to spread our message of preventing the abuse and neglect of children through CASA.”

“Megan and I are honored Christine & BA have asked us to join them in helping children throughout the south, Mullen said. “We’ve been so proud to take part in BA’s event the last six years, and are really excited to partner with such a great family who truly wants to give back. I expect a lot of Bucs and Gators fans to join us and really enjoy this special event.”
