Mullen Family 36 Foundation teamed up with the Arians Family Foundation, head coach Bruce Arians of the Tampa Buccaneers, for the 7th Annual Lake Oconee Celebrity Golf Classic. The event kicked off with a BBQ, Silent Auction and concert by Country Stars Carly Pearce and Michael Ray at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge at Reynolds Lake Oconee. The following day was a scramble on the world renowned Oconee Course attended by Hall of Fame and World Champion Athletes, NFL Players and Coaches and Celebrities.
The proceeds for the 2-Day event benefitted both family foundations. The Mullen Family 36 Foundation was created to lend a helping hand to children in need, and with the weekend proceeds the Mullens are starting a literacy campaign to ensure every child in the Sunshine State can read. The Arians Family Foundation supports CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) which helps to ensure that children who are involved in the court system, as a result of abuse or neglect by their families, receive the help they need.
Following the event, Mullen said, “Megan and I were honored to partner with Christine and BA this weekend and help children through the south.” “It was great to see all of the Bucs and Gator fans this weekend.”
